Our 2D-PRINTABLE partner TCD participated in The Transition Year Physics Experience (TYPE) – program introducing students to core physics concepts like mechanics, electricity, and optics through experiments and interactive learning. Aimed at transition year students, it fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world application of physics, inspiring interest in science and engineering while developing analytical and teamwork skills.
This year’s Transition Year Physics Experience (TYPE) featured postdocs and PhDs from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) guiding over 50 students through our research laboratories. 2D-PRINTABLE introduced students to the fundamentals of nanomaterials and demonstrated how we address challenges in nanomaterial production. Through these sessions, students gained valuable insights into cutting-edge research and its real-world applications, inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
