About the Event
The symposium is co-organised by the 2D-PRINTABLE and HYPERSONIC projects and builds on a shared vision to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced 2D materials across a wide range of electronic applications.
The programme will feature invited speakers from the Graphene Flagship, including representatives from SAFARI (Dr. Diana Marcano) and ARMS (Prof. Matti Mäntysalo), as well as a guest speaker from the Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I) (Prof. Gianluca Fiori). These contributions will provide insights into current research activities, emerging technologies, and key challenges related to printable and flexible electronics based on 2D materials. In addition, partners from both 2D-PRINTABLE and HYPERSONIC will present highlights of their latest research and technological developments.
The symposium will offer a valuable platform for both early-career and established researchers to explore emerging trends, share results, and establish new collaborations in the field of 2D materials.
Evening Panel: Policy and Industry Perspectives
The day will conclude with a high-level panel discussion addressing the broader innovation landscape of 2D material technologies. This interactive session will connect scientific progress with policy frameworks and market needs, featuring panellists from industry (mSemicon, BeDimensional), policy and funding bodies (Research Ireland, IAM-I), and research commercialisation (Enterprise Ireland).
We warmly invite researchers, industry partners and innovators to join us in Dublin and contribute to shaping the future of advanced 2D materials.
